I spent two weekends ‘shopping’ … and uncovered some real deals !!!
My buyers are relocating from Maryland to Miami. They want a well-established Miami neighborhood with top schools, and they want a pool home. Price range $525,000.00 -$750,000.00 (4-5 bedrooms).
To give a sense of “value” … and show them what their money could buy… I took them through Pinecrest and a few blocks south of that (in north Palmetto Bay)… I took them to see the top 12 homes listed for sale in those two Miami ‘villages’ that fit their particular criteria.
There are some GOOD DEALS OUT THERE IN BOTH PINECREST AND PALMETTO BAY! No, I won’t keep them secret … Read on, and I’ll share:
But first, there’s a reason why buyers (who are moving or relocating to Miami) gravitate toward Pinecrest or Palmetto Bay: Public schools, property value, lifestyle, and a neighborhood “feel”, and reputation. Pinecrest extends from SW 88th St down to SW 136th Street, and Palmetto Bay (the village of “parks”) goes from SW 136th south. Both are known for their top schools, and my buyers had earmarked Miami Palmetto Senior High School as their sole choice for a senior high – which is the highschool that serves most of Palmetto Bay and Pinecrest.
We previewed a handful of homes to see what $525,000 to $750,000 would get them in Pinecrest … and what they could buy for that in Palmetto Bay.
