The Dalai Lama is set to visit the University of Miami on October 26, 2010. This is a return visit for the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzen Gyatso, who will speak on “The Quest for Happiness in Challenging Times”. The event will take place 
at the Bank United Center at 1:30 PM on Ocotber 26. The event is open to the UM community of students, faculty and staff.
The Dalai Lama spoke at the University in 2004, where he spoke on “A Human Approach to World Peace.” He was also given an honorary doctorate of humane letters, which recognized him as a world and spiritual leader.
