Are your kids looking for something fun to do this summer? Miami has lots of activities for your kids, from tennis and soccer camps to Sea camps and acting camps. Here are some of our area’s most popular ones:
Museum of Science Summer Camp: This camp runs from June 15-July 31 2009 at the Museum of Science. The camp offers activities for everyone starting at toddlers through 8th grade. The museum of Science offers creative and fun ways to teach kids about everything from bugs to hurricanes and outer space.
Miami Seaquarium Summer Camp: June 8- August 16th, the Seaquarium offers kids week long activities of daily animal shows and interactions and field and art activities. Kids will receive a snack, souvenir water bottle and a camp t-shirt. Kids aged from Kindergarten to High school are welcome.
Royal Palm Tennis Camp: Located in Pinecrest, this private tennis club opens its gates to local kids and offers a day full of tennis. From 9:30-3:30, kids have instruction, drills, games and match play.
Soccer Camps: Soccer Locker has provided a list of Miami soccer camps, including FCBarcelona Camp, University of Miami Camp, and camp at FIU.
Ransom Everglades Day Camp: Open to kids grades K-7th (ages 5-12). campers will participate in water based activities in the newly remodeled pool and will sail from the waterfront facilities. Sailing activites include swimming at the sandbar, exploring islands and tubing. Other activities include arts and crafts, tennis, waterpolo, drama, yoga, canoeing, archery and karate.
