Open-Air Market in Palmetto Bay Offers Green-Friendly Items

The Village of Palmetto Bay recently opened their open-air market to the public. Located at SW 174 St and SW 97 Ave, in the heart of the “downtown” area in the Franjo Triangle/Commercial Island District. The market opened on November 2, 2008 and will be open every Sunday through April 2009.

It is professionally managed by The Market Company and features green-market vendors that specialize in fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, trees and other local goods, including organic items. There are also vendors selling antiques, art and collectibles.
