A new art exhibit is being showcased in Coral Gables– the Pink Snail Exhibit titles the REgeneration Art Project. 21 snails are placed throughout the Gables. It has been around the world and was recently showcased at Art Basel. The 8-foot tall snails are made out of recycled plastic material and the idea is to get people talking about recycling.
The exhibit comes to us thanks to the Cracking Art Group as well as Italy’s Galleria Ca” D’oro which recently opened on Lorenzo Ave. For the next two months, the snails can be found in places like Merrick Park, the Youth Center and the Coral Gables Museum.
